        You have your own ideas about how your racket should be built, and look like? You want to have individually customized rubbers and/or a blade? Well, in this case, our racket configurator is the perfect tool for you!
        
        You probably know that nowadays, the choice and possibilities to select two rubbers and one blade are enormous. Once you have made your decision, the next question arises: How can I combine two (possibly very different) rubbers, and any specific blade? For this purpose, TT-SHOP.COM developed the so called bat (or racket) configurator.
        
        And this is how the bat configurator works:
        
        First, choose your blade. The blade is the heart of each table tennis racket, and is a major part of its gaming behavior. The following link contains all blades we offer, sorted by brands:
        
        Table tennis blades: Choose your brand, and check out the manufacturer specifications. you can also find information regarding speed, control, weight, and price.
        
        When clicking on green (font) products, you can choose whether the rubbers shall be mounted or not. Choosing table tennis rubbers (next to the blade, the rubbers are also extremely important to optimize the racket according to your gaming style) follows the same proceedings. Our rubbers can be found here:
        
        Table tennis rubbers: Choose the brand, and check the manufacturer specifications regarding speed, control, etc.

Tibhar Table Tennis Balls

The latest confusion regarding table tennis plastic balls also affects TIBHAR´s customers. We must confess that the range of products regarding Tibhar table tennis balls (including celluloid balls) is not overloaded and quite clear. You only need to get familiar with table tennis balls.

To shorten your effort of research on this topic, TT-SHOP.COM divided all Tibhar table tennis balls into certain categories, which is clearly presented in an advising text.

Tibhar celluloid balls

Tibhar provides balls for official tournaments and competitions "made in Japan", and "made in China". Qualitatively, the balls coming from Japan are better compared to the balls made in China: They are more durable and slightly harder. The bounce behavior of the ball is very even, therefore, regarding quality, we recommend the (somewhat more expensive) JPS balls.

Overview of celluloid balls for competitions and tournaments

Tibhar JPS 3 Star (Made in Japan): Available in packs of 5, and 100 balls.
Tibhar 3 Star (Made in China): Available in packs of 3, and 72 balls.

Overview of celluloid training balls

For this category, the choice is very easy:

Tibhar Basic: Available in packs of 6, and 72 balls.

Tibhar Plastic Balls

Regarding plastic balls, there is an overall confusion. We think that Tibhar solved this problem in a positive manner: For each type of ball, Tibhar introduced a corresponding training ball to the market.

Tibhar plastic balls for competition and training - 1st generation, with seam

In terms of the gaming properties, the first generation of plastic balls is the closest one to the good old celluloid balls. Unfortunately, the first batch of these plastic balls exhibited much wear and tear. However, this disadvantage was improved considerably.

Balls for competitions and tournaments: Tibhar SYNTT (with seam, 1st generation)
Balls for training purposes: Tibhar Basic (with seam, 1st generation, identifiable by the red font)

The Tibhar Syntt is to most spinny of all types of plastic balls.

Tibhar plastic balls for competition and training - 2nd generation, with seam

The second generation of plastic balls is equipped with so called ABS material (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). For this reason, such balls are labeled with "ABS technology" in our shop.

The largest advantage of these balls is that they exhibit a significantly improved durability. However, ABS balls are slightly less spinny.

With respect to Tibhar, the following products may be selected:

Balls for competitions/tournaments: Tibhar SYNTT NG (with seam, ABS technology).
Balls for training purposes: Tibhar Basic Syntt NG (with seam, ABS technology, identifiable by the blue font).

The Tibhar Syntt NG is always a bit less spinny compared to the Syntt (1st generation). However, the Syntt NG offers a better durability since the material used for this plastic table tennis ball is ABS.

Tibhar: Seamless plastic balls for competition and training

For a very long time, seamless plastic balls were better since they were introduced to the market when the first generation TT balls (with seam) still had problems (poor durability). By now, however, this was improved! Now both balls are equally as good. Tibhar´s range of products comprises:

Balls for competitions/tournaments: Tibhar 40+ SL (seamless)
Balls for training purposes: Tibhar Basic 40+ SL (seamless, identifiable by the orange font)

The designation "SL" corresponds to seamless. The Tibhar 40+ SL exhibits less spin compared to both the Syntt, and the celluloid version.

Summary

The manufacturers optimally arranged the Tibhar table tennis balls. Hence, and in addition to some advice, it is not too difficult to keep the overview. We hope that we reached this aim!

Still, at this time, we do not want to give you a concrete recommendation YET. Our recommendation is it to test the balls.
